Investigation of sectorial patterns in apple shoots using abscisic acid

, : Investigation of sectorial patterns in apple shoots using abscisic acid. Annals of Botany 46(6): 815-817

Solutions of 10 mol/m3 NaHCO3 (control) or 0.1 mol/m3 ABA in 10 mol/m3 NaHCO3 were fed to trimmed leaves on shoots of greenhouse-grown potted plants of the apple rootstock M.7. The shoots had from 15 to 20 fully expanded leaves and incorporated 1.0 plus or minus 0.3 ml of solution during the 5-h treatment period.
