Mathematical method for investigating causes of infertility in cattle

, : Mathematical method for investigating causes of infertility in cattle. Veterinary Record 110(16): 387-387

Mathematical treatment of data from the service list and pregnancy examinations is described to estimate the heat detection efficiency of the herdsman and the achieved conception rate. The method uses the results of pregnancy diagnosis and the three-week non-return rate recorded for the cattle under consideration. A mathematical formula is presented.
