New species of mosquitoes in the fauna of the Soviet Union

, : New species of mosquitoes in the fauna of the Soviet Union. Parazitologicheskii Sbornik 30: 97-165

In this paper, which is an addition to a review of the mosquito fauna of the USSR published in 1970 the mosquito larvae and adults recorded for the first time in the USSR by the authors and other workers between 1971 and 1978 are described. Most of these species belong to the genus Aedes, for which a new key is provided to all 60 species known in the USSR, according to external characteristics, structure of the male genitalia and fourth-instar larvae.
