, : Ovipositional sites of the minute pirate bug in alfalfa stems. Southwestern Entomologist, 63: 190-194

Lucerne stems collected weekly from fields near Tucson, Arizona, during 1980 were examined for eggs of Orius tristicolor (White). Most of the eggs were found in the apical 15 cm of the stems, there being a preference for longer stems.
