Plant protection trials with durum wheat (Triticum durum)

, : Plant protection trials with durum wheat (Triticum durum). Gesunde Pflanzen 32(5): 107-108, 110-112

In field trials in 1977-9 the responses of durum wheat Agathe, Lakota, Lambro (1978), Rio (1978-9) and 2 breeding lines to various fungicide and herbicide treatments were compared with those of the soft wheat Kormoran in autumn sowings and Kolibri in spring sowings. Yield increases resulting from disease control were greatest in the autumn-sown crop in 1978 and ranged from 6% in Lambro to 34% in Lakota (11% in Kormoran).
