Studies on control methods of peach fruit moth (Carposina niponensis Walsingham). V Screening tests and practical tests using Karphos micro-granule F 3% by ground surface application

, : Studies on control methods of peach fruit moth (Carposina niponensis Walsingham). V Screening tests and practical tests using Karphos micro-granule F 3% by ground surface application. Bulletin of the Akita Fruit Tree Experiment Station (11): 25-31

In further investigations in Japan on the control of the peach pest Carposina niponensis Wlsm. (see preceding abstract), Karphos (O,O-diethyl O-(5-phenyl-3-isoxazolyl) phosphorothioate) was tested in 3% microgranular formulation in the laboratory and field in 1972-77. In screening tests, an outstanding effect on the suppression of adult emergence was observed, with a residual action of more than 13 days.
