Causes of mercury loading in wild boar

, : Causes of mercury loading in wild boar. Allgemeine Forstzeitschrift (44): 1334-1335

Studies in various regions of W. Germany in 1975-1980 are reported. The source of abnormally high rates of Hg (>9 p.p.m.) in droppings of forest-dwelling boar was found to be recently sown wheat which had been treated against bunt with a Hg-containing agent (banned in 1982).
