Genetic control of changes in the composition of readily soluble protein components in wheat plants treated with 2,4-D

, : Genetic control of changes in the composition of readily soluble protein components in wheat plants treated with 2,4-D. Doklady Akademii Nauk BSSR 24(9): 851-854

Protein from whole plants of euploid Chinese Spring and 17 ditelosomic lines of this variety, sprayed at the tillering stage with a 10-2 M solution, was analysed. By the third day after treatment, all lines except ditelo-3D showed qualitative and quantitative changes in protein banding pattern. Some lines (the most sensitive to 2,4-D) differed little from the control in banding pattern after treatment, viz. 1A, 2A, 1B, 5B, 1D and 5D.
