Three varieties, of upright bunch, spreading bunch and runner habit respectively, were studied for 14 characters in 1979-1980. In each variety, seed yield was correlated with numbers of mature pods, flowers, pegs and branches; in the three taken as a whole, the total number of pods was also correlated with seed yield.
