Changes of frequency of genotypes in Phaseolus composites

, : Changes of frequency of genotypes in Phaseolus composites. Agricultura Tecnica en Mexico 1983; 8(2): 169-184

A study of 5 composites, each composed of 4 lines differing in habit, at 2 sites over 4 growing seasons showed that varieties or lines with good yields or disease resistance tended to increase their representation in the composite, measured by number of plants/line, number of seeds/line or yield/unit area. Site affected changes in composition in some cases.
