The average coefficient of basophil degranulation was determined for rabbits after 2 injections of Fasciola antigen. It was variable throughout the post-immunization period (13 h to 27 days) and reached a maximum on day 5 of 1.7 for the intestinal wall and 1.3 for mesenteric lymph nodes (controls 0.6 and 0.3).
