, : Comparative studies on promising sessile oak/beech ecosystems in Strandzha. Gorskostopanska Nauka 20(5): 35-44

Details are given of the soils and mensurational data of stands of Quercus petraea/Fagus orientalis in the Strandzha region of Bulgaria. Four groups of sites were on brown forest soils, and two groups on yellow podzolic soils. These six site types are defined by the Pogrebnyak system of classification.
