Effect of phosphorus nutrition conditions on contents of different forms of phosphorus compounds and accumulation of nutrients in maize plants

, : Effect of phosphorus nutrition conditions on contents of different forms of phosphorus compounds and accumulation of nutrients in maize plants. Agrokhimiya (10): 23-28

In pot and field trials with maize grown on calcareous chernozem the threshold limits of P contents in soil and plants, at which P metabolism is disrupted and Zn deficiency symptoms appear, were determined. The P2O5 threshold limit in soils during the autumn period was <more or => 1.5 mg/kg soil. The mineral P:orgainic P ratio of 1:4 was the threshold limit of P in plants at the tasselling stage.
