Effect of plant density and rates of phosphorus on the production of two bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) cultivars

, : Effect of plant density and rates of phosphorus on the production of two bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) cultivars. Anais, I reuniao nacional de pesquisa de feijao: 114

In a field trial in 1978-9 at Caldas, P. vulgaris Carioca 1030 and Jalo were sown at 10, 15 or 20 plants/m row and given 0-300 kg P2O5/ha. P application increased seed yield, pod number/plot, seeds/pod, 100-seed wt., dry wt./plant and percentage plant survival.
