Nutrients removal by wheat and weeds as affected by metoxuron application

, : Nutrients removal by wheat and weeds as affected by metoxuron application. Indian Journal of Weed Science 15(1): 29-37

Nutrient uptake by wheat kept free of weeds up to harvest with 1.25-2 kg metoxuron/ha applied 15-35 days after sowing was 93.97 kg N, 19.11 kg P2O5, 83.75 kg K2O, 152.04 g Cu, 161.7 g Fe, 234.71 g Mn and 194.52 g Zn/ha. Associated weeds when allowed to compete till harvest depleted 9.6 kg N, 1.13 kg P2O5, 5.12 kg K2O, and 4.89, 661.16, 30.51 and 7.70 g/ha each of Cu, Fe, Mn and Zn, resp.
