Aphids in spring sown cereals in central Sweden. Abundance and distribution 1980-1983

, : Aphids in spring sown cereals in central Sweden. Abundance and distribution 1980-1983. Zeitschrift Fuer Angewandte Entomologie: 1001: 8-16

Cereal aphids were surveyed in spring cereals near Uppsala, central Sweden, in 1980-83. Sitobion avenae was the most abundant species in 1983 and Rhopalosiphum padi in the other years. Large differences in aphid numbers were observed between years and fields. The number of parasitized and diseased aphids was low.
