Biological control of root pathogens: new technologies and the potential for impact on crop productivity

, : Biological control of root pathogens: new technologies and the potential for impact on crop productivity. Extension Bulletin, ASPAC Food and Fertilizer Technology Center (201): 9

Factors involved in the biological control of root pathogens are reviewed. Attention is paid to the definition of biological control; biotic and abiotic constraints on root health; relationships of root health to soil and crop management practices, such as organic manuring and tillage; biological seed treatments; and the potential to increase crop productivity.
