Double ejaculates were collected by artificial vagina from eight 3-yr-old N'Dama bulls 4 times weekly during a 9-wk period in each of 3 seasons: dry season (Dec.-Mar.), rainy season (Apr.-July) and late rainy-early dry season (Aug.-Nov.). The concentrations of sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, chloride and fructose in whole semen and seminal plasma are tabulated. The chloride concentration was significantly lower in 1st than in 2nd ejaculates.
