, : Effect of the rumen fermoregulator 'monensin' on selected parameters of metabolism in fattening bulls. Archiv fur Tierernahrung 36(1): 99-106

Fattening bulls were given a daily supplement of 170 or 200 g monensin and in another trial 0, 500 or 1000 mg monensin daily. Giving monensin had no effect on calcium, phosphorus or magnesium concentrations in blood.
