Evaluation of Compudose 200 in calves, growing and finishing steers

, : Evaluation of Compudose 200 in calves, growing and finishing steers. Farm and Food Research 16(3): 76-78

Compudose 200, developed for use over a single grazing season or winter finishing period, is similar to Compudose 365 but has less oestradiol 17 beta , 24 mg compared with 45 mg. With calves Compudose 200 gave no response nor did 2 implants with Ralgro. Compudose 200 gave a good response in both growing and finishing steers. The response to Compudose 200 and the androgenic-type Finaplix was similar to that for 2 Ralgro implants and Finaplix.
