, : Further data on grapevine leafroll etiology. Phytopathologia Mediterranea 24(1/2): 148-151

Filamentous particles that can be considered as virions of a closterovirus were seen in tissues of 15 of 17 grapevine clones with leaf roll infection. The particles were not found in 11 healthy clones of the same cultivars. Isometric virus-like particles 25 nm diam. were observed in 2 diseased and 1 healthy clone.
