, : Toxicity of the plant 'Vilayati akadi' (Ipomoea carnea) in live-stock. Indian Journal of Veterinary Medicine 4(2): 142

\This weed is found in Rajasthan. Although not palatable, livestock will eat it when forage is scarce. Sheep and goats, followed by cattle, are the species most commonly affected. The plant is toxic only in the green stage. Signs of poisoning are usually general depression, rumen hypermotility and diarrhoea.
