Classification and identity research of varieties of Phaseolus beans in the Netherlands

, : Classification and identity research of varieties of Phaseolus beans in the Netherlands. Acta Horticulturae (182): 403-406

Data are tabulated on the number of applications for breeders' rights for cultivars in various crop groups within P. vulgaris and P. coccineus in the Netherlands since 1946, and on the numbers of Dutch commercial varieties registered since 1974. The figures showed an increase in the number of applications for breeders' rights for dwarf French bean varieties during the 1970s, while those for other crop groups stabilized or decreased during this period.
