Effect on wool production of supplementing black locust (Robinia pseudoacacia) and biul (Grewia optiva) leaves ad libitum to a concentrate diet of angora rabbits

, : Effect on wool production of supplementing black locust (Robinia pseudoacacia) and biul (Grewia optiva) leaves ad libitum to a concentrate diet of angora rabbits. Journal of Applied Rabbit Research 9(4): 159-163

Angora rabbits were in 3 groups and fed on concentrates alone or with black locust (Robinia pseudoacacia) or biul (Grewia optiva) leaves. All the rabbits showed a slight increase in body weight after feeding for 107 days. Annual wool production was, in that order, 287.34, 195.76 and 294.63 g. Average DM intake was 56.09, 57.69 and 50.12 g/kg0.75; differences were not significant.
