, : Pathology of hock and breast granuloma developed in chickens reared in cages. Assiut Veterinary Medical Journal 18(36): 104-108

Of 50 broilers kept in 5 wire cages, 5 showed lesions after 15 days, 3 died after 40 days with prominent hock and breast lesions, and 25 had hock and breast lesions when examined PM after six weeks. The hock lesions were bilateral and caused severe joint deformity. The lesions consisted of highly cellular and vascular granulation tissue.
