Composition of sand in coastal soils of Kachchha (Gujarat)

, : Composition of sand in coastal soils of Kachchha (Gujarat). Journal of the Indian Society of Coastal Agricultural Research 7(1): 13-18

Data for the coarse and fine sand fractions from two typical salt affected coastal soils of Kachchha district showed that silica was the predominant mineral. The calcareous and sodic nature of the sand fractions indicated aeolian activity coupled with marine effects.
