, : Crossing of Large White sows with Belgian Landrace, Duroc and Spotted Poland boars: effect on rearing performance. Zootecnica e Nutrizione Animale 15(4): 307-320

50 gilts and 45 sows of the Large White breed were inseminated with semen of 4 Large White, 5 Belgian Landrace, 4 Duroc and 4 Spotted boars. There were no significant differences between sire breeds for pregnancy duration, litter size and weight, or piglet weight at birth or weaning.
