Effect of combined use of diammonium phosphate and insecticides as foliar spray against sucking pests of cotton

, : Effect of combined use of diammonium phosphate and insecticides as foliar spray against sucking pests of cotton. Indian Journal of Agricultural Research 22(3): 155-158

The compatibility of diammonium phosphate with 6 insecticides (pirimicarb, monocrotophos, dimethoate, FMC 35001 methyl-demeton and formothion) for the control of Aphis gossypii, the cicadellid Amrasca biguttula biguttula and Thrips tabaci on cotton was studied in the field in India. Monocrotophos (0.05%) and 0.1% pirimicarb were effective against these pests, either alone or in combination with 1% diammonium phosphate.
