Male and fowls, Japanese quails and turkeys were studied. Quails were mated naturally, and AI was carried out on fowl and turkey hens. Eggs were collected during the fertile period, which lasted for approx. 14, 18 and 35 days after insemination in quails, fowls and turkeys resp.
