Numerical taxonomic studies in Triticum L. and Aegilops L. A contribution to the classification of cultivated plants

, : Numerical taxonomic studies in Triticum L. and Aegilops L. A contribution to the classification of cultivated plants. Kulturpflanze 35: 53-97

Numerical taxonomy was applied to a collection of T. aestivum from Iran (for intraspecific classification) and to a Triticum and Aegilops collection (for classification at the species and genus level). The use of similarity coefficients and clustering methods gave useful results in most cases but these did not coincide with biological classification. A divisive clustering method was devised to try to overcome this problem.
