The influence of the social and living conditions of state farm workers on their professional stability

, : The influence of the social and living conditions of state farm workers on their professional stability. Zeszyty Naukowe Akademii Rolniczej im H Koataja w Krakowie, Sesja Naukowa 21: 259-267

An investigation was carried out in 14 state farms of the Krosno voivodship of Poland which encompassed demographic characteristics of manpower, their professional qualifications, and living and working conditions. The farms were established in a region where the development of agricultural production is not an easy task. Hence, the problem of finding and retaining personnel is more acute than in other regions, while industrial development has contributed to greater labour mobility.
