Data were obtained on 10 groups of half-sisters averaging 48 Czech Pied (CP), Ayrshire X CP, Dutch Black Pied X CP and Red and White Holstein X CP cows per group. The hsuperscript 2 of survival to 48, 60 and 72 months of age was 0.084, 0.184 and 0.210 resp.
