, : A new leaf spot disease of cotton in India. Gujarat Agricultural University Research Journal 14(2): 100-102

A severe leaf spot of the cultivars Hybrid 4 and 6 in the Junagadh district in 1984-85 was caused by Corynespora cassiicola. The disease usually appeared in Sep. on plants 3-4 months old, the spots spreading rapidly under favourable weather conditions to form large necrotic patches on leaves and bolls. Pathogenicity was confirmed experimentally.
