Climatic change and plant genetic resources

, : Climatic change and plant genetic resources. Climatic change and plant genetic resources: xii + 190 pp.

The chapters in this book, some of which were papers presented at the Second International Workshop on Plant Genetic Resources in Birmingham, UK, 17-18 April 1989, mainly address the effects of the 'greenhouse effect' on genetic diversity in domestic plants. The book is especially aimed at those breeding new crop plants, and strategies for coping with global warming by using and preserving genetic resources are considered. Chapter titles are as follows: 1.
