Cucumber production in hydroponic culture in a greenhouse

, : Cucumber production in hydroponic culture in a greenhouse. Informes de Investigacion CENID RASPA: 399-418

Cucumber plants were grown in pots in an unheated greenhouse with thermal polyethylene cladding in summer/autumn (Aug. to Oct.) and winter (Nov. to Mar.). Temperatures in the greenhouse ranged from 12 degrees to 27.4 degrees C in summer/autumn and from 7.58 degrees to 32 degrees in winter. Relative humidities averaged 76 and 80%, respectively. Yields of 10-11 kg/msuperscript 2 were obtained in both seasons.
