Effects of pesticide poisoning on the growth and development of the survival of insects at later stages

, : Effects of pesticide poisoning on the growth and development of the survival of insects at later stages. Insect Knowledge 27(4): 226-227

In field trials conducted in China during 1988, 5th instar larvae of the bombycid Bombyx mori were fed mulberry leaves treated with the insecticides methamidophos, fenvalerate, trichlorfon, DDVP omethoate, carbofuran and Shachongshuang (thiosulfuric acid S,S'-(2-(dimethylamino)-1,3-propanediyl ester disodium salt)) to determine their effect on the growth and development of survivors. The developmental rate of later larval instars decreased following treatment.
