Feline lens displacement. A retrospective analysis of 345 cases

, : Feline lens displacement. A retrospective analysis of 345 cases. Progress in Veterinary and Comparative Ophthalmology 1(4): 239-244

In a 2-part retrospective analysis, 332 cases coded for lens luxation or subluxation by 20 veterinary institutions were identified and information tabulated on history and ocular and non-ocular diagnoses. 74 of these cases were then examined in more detail using a questionnaire to obtain physical and ocular examination findings, laboratory data, therapy and case outcome. Compared to the reference population, Siamese cats were over-represented in the lens luxation population.
