Forest health issues in South-east Asian countries

, : Forest health issues in South-east Asian countries. New Zealand Journal of Forestry Science 19(2-3): 159-162

Although plantations are not yet a large part of South East Asian forestry, they are becoming increasingly important as wood supplies from natural forests are depleted. Insect and fungal pathogens can have severely detrimental effects on tree plantations and usually where this has happened foresters have responded by changing tree species or siting.
