Importance of fish consumption to sport fishermen: an economic analysis

, : Importance of fish consumption to sport fishermen: an economic analysis. Fisheries Bethesda 16(6): 13-16; 18-19

In the human dimensions area of marine science there is emerging interest in the influence of consumptive attributes, such as catch and retention, upon the overall level of sport fishing satisfaction, motivation and value. The paper offers a theoretical and empirical synopsis of the disparity that exists in the fishery social sciences concerning the sport fishing consumptive hypothesis.
