Invasion by annual brome grasses: a case study challenging the homoclime approach to invasions

, : Invasion by annual brome grasses: a case study challenging the homoclime approach to invasions. Biogeography of mediterranean invasions: 207-224

The invasion patterns of annual brome grasses (Bromus spp.) are discussed with particular reference to distributions encompassing regions of several climatic types. Information on the synonymy, life forms, distribution and habitats of annual brome grasses was collated from a survey of about 300 floras in the libraries of scientific institutions in France (Montpellier and Paris), California, USA (Stanford and Berkeley) and Morocco (Rabat).
