Sampling and analysis of rain: methods and results of the Venice regional network

, : Sampling and analysis of rain: methods and results of the Venice regional network. Fresenius' Journal of Analytical Chemistry 341(10): 625-630

A network of 8 sampling stations in the Venice Region of Italy, remote from motor traffic and industrial sources of air pollutants, recorded meteorological and physical data on air quality and meteorological precipitation. An automatic analyser based on colorimetric methods were used for ammonium, sulfate, nitrate, phosphate and chloride determination and an atomic absorption spectrometer for Ca, Mg, K and Na analysis.
