Studies on lymphoid lesions of goat pox

, : Studies on lymphoid lesions of goat pox. Indian Journal of Animal Research 25(1): 1-4

Pathological lesions of goat pox in the lymphoid organs consisted of congestion, haemorrhages, depletion of lymphocytic population, degeneration leading to necrosis of lymphoid cells and intracytoplasmic inclusion bodies. The nature of lymphoid lesions suggested that mortality from goat pox is possibly due to failure of immune system.
