A simple method for determination of available phosphorus content in fish diet

, : A simple method for determination of available phosphorus content in fish diet. Nippon Suisan Gakkaishi = Bulletin of the Japanese Society of Scientific Fisheries 58(11): 2095-2100

Carp and rainbow trout were fed on diets containing white or brown fish meal without or with phosphorus supplements. Diet composition is given in a table. About 0.6 g of each diet was fractionated with deionized water (Fr.1), 80% acetic acid (Fr.11), and 0.25 M hydrochloric acid (Fr. 111), in order to simplify estimation of available P content in a fish feed.
