, : A study on the dynamic variation of the northern boundary of the south-temperate zone of northern China in the last hundred years. Chinese Journal of Arid Land Research 7(1): 17-22

The northern boundary of the South-Temperate Zone of northern China is situated at the southern side of the Great Wall in the transitional zone between sub-arid and semi-humid regions. It is located in the agricultural-pastoral mixed zone and is an important region for establishing shelter forests.
