Aspergilloma complicating cystic fibrosis

, : Aspergilloma complicating cystic fibrosis. Ajr. American Journal of Roentgenology 161(3): 674-675

In response to a paper concerning respiratory problems of early life, including cystic fibrosis and hypersensitivity bronchopulmonary aspergillosis (Griscom, N. T. American Journal of Roentgenology (1992) 158, 1-8), 2 cases of aspergilloma complicating cystic fibrosis are reported in 18- and 38-yr-old women from the Irish Republic. In these patients, aspergilloma was diagnosed incidentally from findings on chest radiographs and confirmed by computed tomography scans.
