Bees and vespine wasps

This review describes predation on honey bee colonies by members of the subfamily Vespinae. It includes a summary of the results of a survey on the impact of wasps on beekeeping in USA and Canada. The defensive techniques used by honey bee colonies against attacks by wasps are described briefly.
