Gongylonema (Progongylonema) pacoi subgen. nov., sp. nov. from the mucosa under the tongue of Pica pica, Garrulus glandarius, Cyanopica cyanus and Corvus monedula (Passeriformes: Corvidae) from north of Cordoba province Spain is described and figured. Because of its cephalic structure the species is considered to be a member of the Family Gongylonematidae.
