, : Impacts of GATT on representative farms in major production areas of the United States. AFPC Policy Briefing Series ( 94-3): i + 61pp.

This briefing paper presents a summary of the impact of the Uruguay Round GATT agreement on the economic viability of 73 representative crop, beef cattle, dairy and pig farm types across the USA. The study was requested by the Senate Agriculture, Nutrition and Forestry Committee and by the House Committee on Agriculture. The impacts of the GATT are compared to the January 1994 FAPRI (Food and Agricultural Policy Research Institute) baseline which assumes a continuation of the 1990 farm bill.
