Inhibitory effects of Ar-turmerone on hemorrhagic factor activity isolated from B. jararaca venom

, : Inhibitory effects of Ar-turmerone on hemorrhagic factor activity isolated from B. jararaca venom. Journal of Natural Toxins 3(1): 15-24

The authors mixed a haemorrhagic factor, isolated from the venom of Bothrops jararaca, with Ar-turmerone, isolated from the roots of Curcuma longa. The mixture, when injected intracutaneously into the shaved dorsal skin of mice showed inhibition of haemorrhagic activity.
