Low-temperature induction of cold shock protein synthesis in seedlings of maize lines and hybrids

, : Low-temperature induction of cold shock protein synthesis in seedlings of maize lines and hybrids. Tsitologiya i Genetika 25(6): 64-69

Two-dimensional PAGE and radionuclide labelling were used to study proteins in shoots of the cold-sensitive Sg25 and more resistant VIR26 and their reciprocal F1 hybrids after cold shock (6 degrees C for 72 h). Although the cold shock protein banding patterns in the genotypes studied mainly coincided, there were some differences.
